株式会社ライフポケットとMAMORIO株式会社は、MAMORIOのクラウドトラッキングネットワークを活用した「紛失防止機能」を付与した製品群「MAMORIO Insideシリーズ」の共同開発を進めてきた。 そしてこのたび、シリーズ新製品として、コンパクトサイズでさまざまなモノに付けられるチャーム型アクセサリー「Smart Charm（スマートチャーム）」を開発。2021年1月18日よりMakuakeにて先行販売を開始した。 モノの探し方がユニーク 「スマートチャーム」は、かばんや財布、ワイヤレスイヤホンのケースなどにアクセサリーとして取り付けるだけで、そのモノの紛失防止になるという製品。 同製品に搭載された紛失防止タグがスマートフォンとBluetoothで通信し、地図上からスマートチャームのありかを表示したり、スマートチャームと離れた際にプッシュ通知を送ったりとモノをなくさないための機能を搭載している。 それでももし、モノをなくしてしまったときは「みんなでさがす」機能が便利。 アプリで同機能をオンにすると、ほかの「MAMORIO」ユーザーが探しものの近くを通ったときや、MAMORIO Spotを設置している場所に届けられたときにその位置を知らせてくれるという。もちろん、探しものの近くを通ったユーザーには「◯個発見しました」と表示されるだけで、位置は持ち主にのみ通知される。 さらに、...more部屋のなかでモノをなくした場合は、スマートフォンのカメラを使い探すことも可能。カメラをかざすとそのモノのありかをARで知ることができるというユニークな機能があるようだ。 そのほかの魅力としては、寿命約1年間の電池（1個100円程度）を使用し、ユーザー自身で交換可能という手軽さや、質感にこだわったレザーと豊富なカラーバリエーションで幅広いモノに付けられるという点が挙げられる。 現在、3,960円の支援でひとつ入手可能。2月27日までに支払いを完了すれば3月末までに発送されるようだ。 「MAMORIO」の技術を活用した製品・機能 両社はこれまで、なくさない財布として「LIFE POCKET Mini Wallet」や「LIFEPOCKET Smart Wallet2」、なくさない「パスケース」や「キーリング」など紛失防止デバイスを活用したさまざまな製品を生み出してきた。 こういった製品の核となる技術を有するMAMORIOは、独自にシール型紛失防止デバイス「MAMORIO FUDA」を開発したり、「MAMORIO」の技術を応用してソーシャルディスタンスの維持を促す機能を開発したりしている。 先日Techable（テッカブル）では、同社CTOの高野氏と、ディレクターの桶本氏にインタビューを行い、「MAMORIO」開発の根底にある「開発者の矜持」を伺っているのでそちらもあわせて読んでみてほしい。 PR TIMES Makuake
